I read in the Free Press about the women’s conference at Cobo in October. It also mentioned a directory of women run businesses. I wanted to make sure that my employer was on that list. Red Hook coffee shop is run by Sandi Heaselgrave and has a location in Detroit as well as Ferndale.

Do you have any contact info so I can make sure we are on there? The conference website was not fourthcoming.

Thank you so much for your time and attention!

Is there any more information on the May 6 event in Grand Rapids? I can’t find anything regarding venue or speakers. Is it still going to take place?

    Thank you

Does the general admission ticket include access to the 2 PM MEET U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren in Detroit?

Is the Elizabeth Warren / Debbie Stabenow reception included in the Summit ticket, or is that a different ticket?

Will either Sen. Debbie Stabenow or Sen. Elizabeth Warren be speaking at the event if we purchased ticket reservations for the whole day and not to their specific fundraiser hour? And is it more of a meet and greet added onto the day or are they speaking during the fundraiser? Thank you.

    Good morning!

I just bought tickets to attend sen. Elizabeth Warren’s reception. Do I need tickets to the whole event as well?

    Thank you!

Hello, I am the East MI Field Organizer for Planned Parenthood. You may have been in contact with Christina Soliz, the previous organizer, regarding the summit in Detroit on April 23rd. If you can touch base with me about Planned Parenthood tabling/sponsoring event, please let me know what I can do to assist.

I am volunteering with Michigan Citizens for Water Conservation (savemiwater.org) founded by Peggy Case. Although all challenges to access to clean water are addressed the watershed issue that brought a small circle of women to find their political voice was Nestle’s taking of water from aquifers in Mescota and Oceana counties. This original issue is at the forefront again.

    1. MDEQ has a public comment period , ending 21April, to address the tripling of extraction at one pumping location. Please refer to MCWC’s website for complete information and how to have your voice heard.

    2. MCWC is hosting a Public Info Session prior to MDEQ’s Public Hearing 12 April on the campus of Ferris State.

Make your voice heard. Your comments are vitally important to water taking in our state. Your presence at MDEQ’s Public Hearing has enormous impact! If you want a short course on water extraction in Michigan, come to the Info Session before the Hearing.

      Blessings to You

Hi. I just purchased 3 tickets to the women’s summit at Cobo Hall. I received a receipt through email. Do I use that as my tickets or will I receive those at a later time?

I signed up to volunteer, but have not heard anything, so was just wondering if you still need volunteers and when we would know if we are volunteering.

ThANKS FOR THE ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Personally I am out of Michigan until March 15th. I do belong to our local Kalamazoo Area MOMS DEMAND ACTION for Gun Sense in America. We would like to have a table at or outside the event to pass out brochures/info about MOMS. Would that be possible? Thanks!
